Shipping and DOA Policy

 

Useful information about shipping and DOA coral

*SPS NOT covered under DOA policy*

You can purchase your coral online and pick them up locally here in the Seattle area or we can ship them directly to your doorstep. Shipping is free on orders above $350, unless items are purchased in an auction, then it is a flat rate of $50. We ship all livestock overnight with UPS.

When will my order ship?
We ship for delivery on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and we ship with UPS Next Day Air.  The max size box we offer is 10" x 10" x 10". If your corals/fish do not fit in this size box, we will charge an additional shipping fee per additional box.

If you know you are getting bad weather, it is your responsibility to let us know.

Delayed Order in Shipment:
We are not responsible for tracking your package or any questions you may have with UPS.100% of the time they tell us to have the customer contact them instead. We are NOT responsible for weather delays, mechanical delays or missed deliveryYou must contact UPS directly to resolve any of these issues

Stressed Coral:
Corals and fish need time to acclimate to their new environment. It is not uncommon for livestock to "act" abnormal when being introduced to a new system. If you feel that the fish/coral is in a questionable condition and may die the same day, please email us within the 2 hour delivery window. We will review your claim.

What happens if my coral arrive dead?
We require that photos are in non-blue light and are emailed within 2 hours of arrival and in their original packing. Once we get pictures of coral in original packaging,  we also require pictures of the coral out of the packaging in your tank. In the event that a coral is dead we will provide a replacement on your next order. If no replacement is available we will offer a website credit to be used within 30 days of the credit being issued. All decisions about replacements, credits, and validity of DOA claims will be solely at the discretion of Kraken City Corals.

Once livestock is in your tank, we have no control over the conditions and no guarantee is implied past delivery.

* Please note: We do not replace items that have already been provided as a replacement. Once an item has been replaced, the replacement item is considered final and is not eligible for further replacement. On replacements on your next order, shipping is not covered. 

*Freebie specimens are issued at the discretion of Kraken City Corals and are excluded from this DOA policy.

Credit must be used within 30 days

Item Missing:

If an item is missing from your order, please contact us right away. It might be missing due to the coral not being up to shipping standards. We will add the missing item to your next order.

CANCELLATION/RESTOCKING FEE:
If you cancel an order with us we will charge a 10% restock fee.

When you purchase from our store, you agree to not make a dispute or chargeback under any circumstance. We will resolve any issues that you may have.
